Ambient vs. Performance
When booking an event, you need to decide whether you are looking for ambient entertainment or performance. Ambient entertainment takes place among your guests and interacts with your guests as they mingle. Ambient can include aerialists, stilt walkers, aerial bartenders, and more. This is a great way to wow your guests with a unique experience that adds to the atmosphere of the event. Ambient entertainment can be short sets, but can also be longer events. Performance events put our performers front and center. Your guests will enjoy a show. The shows can be interactive, but are more about watching the magic of cirque in person. Each performance is 10-20 minutes long. There can be multiple performances at one event.
Rigging
If you’re interested in aerial performance, but aren’t sure if it’s possible in your venue, have no fear! If you want to rig within your building, we can work with you to determine if onsite rigging is possible. Any rigging point will need to be assessed before booking is confirmed. If it isn’t, we can still work with you! We can bring our own portable circus rig or aerial lollipop that we can use to do our aerial entertainment. Our rigs come in a small, medium, and large size to accommodate your venue.
Interaction
The level of interaction with your guests is entirely up to you! We are happy to take pictures with your guests, talk with them, and even make them part of the show. We like to get to know your guests and leave them with that happy feel-like-kid-again feeling throughout event. We also love to interact with kids for family friendly events. If you prefer minimal interaction, performances can also be spectator only. When you contact us about your event, we’ll work with you to determine what type of interaction you’re interested in.
Aerial Silks
Two long fabrics hang from the rigging point. Our aerialists can climb the fabric and perform acrobatic tricks in the air. Our aerialists can also lock themselves in the fabric and serve your guests drinks while suspended in the air.
Aerial Hoop/Lyra
A mental hoop suspends from a rigging point. Our aerialists can perform flow and acrobatics while suspended in their air. Lyras can also come in many shapes. We can work with you on getting a custom design for your event.
Trapeze
One bar attached to two ropes hang from a rigging point. The trapeze is a dynamic apparatus that combines the best of silks and lyra moves. Your audience will be amazed with what our performers can do on a trapeze.
Aerial Hammock
A silk apparatus hung in a U shape allows the performers to dance through the air with ease. Our aerialists will make you dizzy with their amazing tricks on a hammock.
Lollipop Lyra
No rig point? No problem! The Lollipop Lyra is a lyra hoop on top of a pole that can sit on the ground. The stage and pole can be decorated to match your event and makes it a great way to impress your guests.
Loops
Two long spansets or straps hang from the rigging point. Our performers will dazzle you with flexibility, strength, drops, and artistry within the loops, or hanging below them. This is also an apparatus suitable for aerial bartending.
